What is a Cooperative (Coop)?
Cooperatives are supportive and creative environments in which artists work and develop their art. Many find it to be a popular and successful arrangement where individuals can share resources, space, materials and utilities. Cooperative purchasing can also make materials and marketing less costly. Our Coop will be supporting emerging photographers with shared space in Yorktown and Newport News with a future space in Williamsburg. Coop members will have access to all available locations and ArtInspired’s (VAPC sponsor) large network of subscribers, professional alliances and marketing avenues.
